Our Winter tour in Yosemite is a great way to see the wonderful sights from Yosemite Valley when the snow falls. Yosemite in the Winter is the best way to get the most out of Yosemite.

Description

Yosemite National Park is opened every day of the year, and this tour will let you explore Yosemite Valley during the beautiful winter snow season. Just imagine Yosemite Valley exposed in soft white snow. In the Yosemite Winter Tour our standard itinerary stops at El Capitan, Half-Dome, Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Falls, Inspiration Point (aka Tunnel View), and at the Yosemite Lodge for a hot meal to warm you up for the rest of the journey.If the weather has anything to do with it, the Giant Sequoias grove hike may not be open to the public, but do not worry! The afternoon will then allow us to spend even more time to take longer walks in the Valley, test your photography skills on the waterfalls and other wonderful Yosemite winter sights to take them postcard-like pictures, or stay indoors and shop for souvenirs to remind you of your wonderful trip with us! Some might even go to the museums, and restaurants in the Village.

We advise you to wear winter clothes, especially hiking boots or warm comfortable shoes with rubber soles and treads.

  • Witness Yosemite's beautiful sights with an informative narrated tour from your guide. Be amazed by Bridalveil Falls, El Capitan, Inspiration Point, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls as they look even better with snow covering them!
  • Enjoy a mini-hike and plenty of photo stops around the Yosemite Valley.
  • Enjoy a hike to one of Yosemite's waterfalls or relax at the visitor's center where there are museums, restaurants, and the Ansel Adams Gallery.
  • Depending on what the weather is like, if available drive to one of the Giant Sequoia groves stopping on the way to get a bird's eye view of the whole valley in winter. If not available, enjoy an extra view of Yosemite Valley!
