Yosemite National Park Tour

• Leave San Francisco in the early morning and head for the Giant Sequoia trees (weather permitting). The hike through the Sequoias is shaded and pleasant and brings you right up close to these massive wooden monuments, some of which are over one thousand years old and measure up to 30ft wide & 300ft tall. This walk is approximately 2-3 miles roundtrip. We will have a pinic lunch (included) among the giant sequoias.
• The Yosemite Valley is approximately 1 mile (1.5 km) wide and 7 miles (10 km) long.
• During this time we make numerous stops for you to enjoy, photograph and appreciate the spectacular beauty that is Yosemite. You will see the valley from a number of great vantage points, possibly the best of which is Inspiration Point at 4,500 feet above sea level.

• Yosemite is a mecca for rock climbers and the sight of people climbing El Capitan's 3,000 ft (1 km) sheer rock face is quite amazing (seasonal).
• The High Country of Yosemite ranges from 8,000ft to the peak of Mt. Lyle which is over 13,000ft high! Most often we visit Glacier Point (seasonal) on these tours where you can look down on the valley from a bird’s-eye view 3,000ft above.
