Travel onboard our fully-enclosable, open-air CJ-8 Scramblers, a rare factory stretch Jeep that comfortably seats 5 passengers. As we head out of San Francisco, we'll be sure to point out San Francisco hot spots. Take advantage of the opportunity to snap photos and listen to descriptive narration provided by our professional driver-guides. Some of the spots we'll check out en route to Muir Woods include: Golden Gate Bridge: Always a symbol of San Francisco and an engineering marvel. Get your camera ready for a photo stop near the bridge. Lombard Street: America's crookedest street. A must see!Russian Hill: Best known by this decade's émigrés as the location of Armistead Maupin's fictional Barbary Lane in the Tales of the City series.

  • Maps in hand, we begin a short walk in Muir Woods, a National Monument. See the tallest trees on earth! After approximately one hour at Muir Woods, we depart for Sausalito.
  • We cross the Golden Gate Bridge and come back over the Bay Bridge to re-enter San Francisco.
  • We'll spend approximately 30 minutes driving along the streets of Sausalito.
